Mr. Sosa-Báez holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Magna Cum Laude), with a specialization in Power Systems and a minor in Psychology, from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus (1997), a Juris Doctor (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law (2001), a License in Law degree (“Licenciatura en Derecho”) from the University of Barcelona (Spain, 2002), and a Masters of Business Administration (with Honors), with a specialization in Finance, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA, 2010).  He was the recipient of the Commerce Law Award and the Public Law Award granted to each graduating class of the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. 

Mr. Sosa-Báez is a Principal at TCM concentrating in Bankruptcy and Restructuring, Civil, Commercial and Banking Litigation and Corporate, Business, Commercial and Contracts Law.  Mr. Sosa-Báez is also a professional engineer licensed to practice in Puerto Rico.

Mr. Sosa-Báez is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Federal Bar Association, Puerto Rico Society of Engineers, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key National Honor Society, and Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society.

Mr. Sosa-Báez is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the Washington, D.C.
