Mr. Sosa-Báez holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Magna Cum Laude), with a specialization in Power Systems and a minor in Psychology, from the University of Puerto Rico (1997, Mayagüez, PR); a Juris Doctor (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law (2001, San Juan, PR); a Licenciatura en Derecho law degree from the University of Barcelona (2002, Barcelona, Spain); and a Masters of Business Administration (with Honors), with a specialization in Finance, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (2010, Philadelphia, PA).  He was the recipient of the Commerce Law Award and the Public Law Award granted to each graduating class at the of the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.  Mr. Sosa-Báez is a member of the American Bar Association and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

Mr. Sosa-Báez is also a Professional Engineer licensed to practice in Puerto Rico.  He is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key National Honor Society and Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society.

Mr. Sosa-Báez is a Principal at TCMR&S concentrating in Civil, Commercial and Banking Litigation, and Corporate, Business, Commercial and Contracts Law.  He was one of the record attorneys for the defendant in the case of Ana Edita Santos de García v. Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, 2007 TSPR 221 (non-applicability of UCC to expired certificate of deposits).  He is admitted to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Court system in Spain.
